Loka Seva Prathisthana is a grassroots organization empowering rural communities through education, livelihoods, and sustainable development.
Lokaseva Pratishtana (LSP) is a registered trust that has been actively working for rural development since 2011 by carrying out various service-oriented activities in villages.
The organization focuses on creating public awareness about pressing village issues and motivates villagers to come together and take collective responsibility in finding and implementing solutions.
Our mission is to nurture value-based thinking among rural youth and to bring prosperity, peace, and well-being into the lives of the people.
Comprehensive village development means ensuring access to basic facilities for all people, improving their economic status, and safeguarding land, water, the environment, and all living beings. To achieve this, seven key dimensions of action have been identified
🎓 Social and Value Education
We support children through learning centers that combine academics with good values.
Libraries, computer learning, and study centers help improve knowledge and skills.
Balagokula, traditional games, and cultural activities support children’s physical, mental, and moral growth.
We organize value-based programs and help families with school admissions and civic awareness.
Folk arts, music, sports, and traditional skills are preserved to strengthen culture and community life.
🩺 Community Health
We organize health check-up camps and support primary health services in villages.
Traditional medicine, medicinal plants, yoga, and first-aid training help families stay healthy.
Cleanliness drives, de-addiction programs, and blood donation camps improve community well-being.
Through the Aarogyamitra initiative, villagers learn simple home remedies and health care practices.
We support women and girls through counseling, nutrition awareness, and access to government health schemes.
💪 Self-Reliance (Swavalambana)
We provide skill training in tailoring, beauty work, repairs, food services, and small business activities.
Farm-based livelihoods such as poultry, livestock rearing, beekeeping, fish farming, mushroom cultivation, nurseries, and medicinal plant farming are promoted.
Villagers are trained to make eco-friendly products, daily-use items, cold-pressed oils, dairy, and cow-based products.
Self-Help Groups are formed and supported, along with guidance on government schemes and employment opportunities.
We also train communities in value addition to help increase income and build long-term self-reliance.
🛡️Village Security
We protect village forests, lakes, grazing lands, and public spaces from misuse and encroachment.
Women and girls are trained in self-defense to improve safety and confidence.
Youth are engaged through sports centers, gyms, traditional akhadas, competitions, and adventure activities.
Disaster management training and community shramadana programs help villages stay prepared and united.
Village meetings are organized to discuss issues, plan solutions, and strengthen collective responsibility.
🤝Social Harmony
We ensure equal and open access to all public spaces for every member of the village.
Villagers come together to celebrate the birth anniversaries of great leaders as one community.
Collective activities such as community prayers, festivals, meals, and sports are organized with everyone’s participation.
People from all sections jointly clean, decorate, and honor statues of respected leaders.
These efforts help build unity, mutual respect, and peaceful living in villages.
🌳Environmental Conservation
We create awareness on saving water and caring for natural resources in villages.
Tree plantation, reduced plastic use, waste management, and clean village surroundings are promoted.
Chemical-free daily-use products are encouraged to protect health and nature.
Steel plate and tumbler banks help keep meetings, festivals, and events plastic-free.
Use of biogas, solar energy, noise control, and regular cleaning of public places are supported.
🐄Cow-Based Organic Agriculture
We spread awareness about organic farming and its benefits for soil, health, and the environment.
Farmers are trained to prepare natural inputs like Jeevamrutha, Beejamrutha, Panchagavya, and organic pest controls.
Soil testing, native seed conservation, food security practices, and kitchen gardens are promoted.
Community farming, use of traditional and animal-based tools, value addition, market linkage, and FPO training are supported.
Care for abandoned cattle, cow-based product training, veterinary awareness, and children’s programs are encouraged.
